University College London Staff Members and Students Visit Mekelle University
73 Master students and 8 teaching staffs of the University College London (UCL) visited Mekelle University with the aim to do mini research on development related topics as part of their MSc programme on April 27, 2013.

(CCM, MU, June 06/2013) Dr Jana Zehle, Vice-Director of the DAAD Information Centre in Addis Ababa, and Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa University, conducted a DAAD- sponsored training at Mekelle University on PhD Proposal Writing yesterday June 05/2013 . The training will also continue today.
Mekelle University to Celebrate Gunbot 20
Mekelle University will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Gunbot 20 on Tuesday morning starting 2:30 local time in the Management Hall at the Main Campus, Endayesus. The day will be remembered with a panel discussion on two major themes. The first would be "Gunbot 20 and Agricultural Productivity" and the second "Gunbot 20 and Samall Scale Industries as ways forward to big industrial revolution.
