The department of Environmental Health and Behavioral Science is one of the seven departments in the School of Public Health. The undergraduate program in Environmental Health is part of post basic training which is conducted in collaboration with the Tigray Regional Health Bureau (TRHB). On March 10, 2018 the department graduated 11 upgrading regular students of BSc in Environmental Health and eight PG students in MPH from its weekend program. In EFY 2010, the department accepts new generic students in environmental health discipline from the Ministry of Education. The existing Postgraduate Programs consists of two modalities; General MPH as regular and weekend bases. Furthermore, the department also offers different environmental health and behavioral sciences courses to undergraduate and postgraduate GMPH students.
