Mekelle University students and the university management initiates to give voluntary services in harvesting farm lands around Aynalem on November 01, 2018.The voluntary service was aimed to help elders and for those in need of a helping hand living around the city.

During the voluntary service all deans and directors together with the volunteer students have participated. On the event, Pof. Kindya G/Hiwot, Preseident of MU, highlights that this voluntary service can be considered as part of the many remarkable community service that the university and our students embarked on, thus it will have positive impact and the university community is always happy to provide such community based voluntary activities. The president also extended his gratitude to the students who take the initiatives and take part in the harvesting with wholehearted.
