The council of Mekelle University convened its first ordinary meeting after the signing of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (CoHA).
The council discussed pertinent issues, including the deliberation made so far with MoE and the federal ministry offices, current status of student facilities, efforts of resource mobilization, unpaid staff sallary matters, the need for psychological therapy and general staff welfare matters. The council agreed on the readines of the university to receive back its students as soon as possible.
