Prof. Domenico Patassini from IUAV University of Venice, Italy has visited Mekelle University to reinitiate the partnership between the two universities.
In his staying from January 23rd to February 1st 2023, he held a series of discussions with the president of our university Dr. Fana Hagos, the Scientific Director of EIT-M Dr. Haddush Goitom and dean of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning Mr. Tuumay Allene. He also undertook a collective and individual consultive meeting with his PhD students from the school. In her discussion with Prof. Domenic, Dr. Fana Hagos extended her appriciation to him and the university of IUAV for their pioneer initiation to reinistate the partnership. The president moreover underscored that Mekelle University is also undertaking necessary preparations to resume networking with all our partners.
