SSF-IBCECR 2026 – Bridging Science, Policy & Practice

About the Conference

The International Conference on Synergies for Sustainable Futures (SSF-IBCECR 2026) is a high-level platform dedicated to advancing global dialogue, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge exchange on today’s most urgent environmental challenges. As biodiversity loss, climate change, and unsustainable development pathways continue to intensify, there is a growing need for integrated, evidence-based, and locally grounded solutions.

SSF-IBCECR 2026 aims to bridge the gap between science, policy, and practice by promoting nature-based solutions, innovative ecotourism models, and climate-resilient development strategies. Hosted by Mekelle University, the conference will convene leading researchers, policymakers, development practitioners, and community stakeholders from across the globe to share experiences, co-create solutions, and build lasting partnerships.
