Empowering the Next Generation of Materials Science and Engineering: Successful Completion of the EiT-M & VUB Computational Training Program
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of an intensive, one-week training program on Computational Materials Science and Engineering! This impactful capacity-building initiative was organized by the Ethiopian Institute of Technology - Mekelle (EiT-M), in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium.
The program was realized under the collaborative project: “Establishing a Computational Laboratory for Advanced Materials Science and Engineering Education and Research: A Capacity-Building Collaboration between Mekelle University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VLIRUOS Short Initiative).”
A Collaborative Hub for Academia and Industry
The training served as a vital bridge between higher education and local industry, bringing together researchers, academics, experts, and industry professionals from:
