Mekelle University has officially launched state-of-the-art Multimedia Studios designed to enhance virtual learning. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Fana Hagos, President of Mekelle University, remarked, “The launch of these cutting-edge digital multimedia studios marks a significant milestone in our efforts to embark into the virtual education system.”
Dr. Zelalem Assefa, Chief Executive Officer for ICT and Dogital Education at the Ministry of Education, noted that seven similar studios have already been established nationwide and emphasized the critical role universities are expected to play in expanding access to digital education.
The event was attended by academic vice presidents and e-learning directors from various universities, underscoring the importance of collaboration in transforming the educational landscape.
