Mekelle University organized a leadership meeting on PhD program adminstrations and VPRCE reforms. The University top management, deans, deputy deans, academic and research directors took part in this productive meeting.
The VPRCE reform agenda focused on on boarding session about the status and benefits of Mekelle University's Institutional Repository, Online journals, and DataCite GAF insfrastructure. Furthermore, MU's PhD program adminstration was also another main issue that was presented during the meeting. Following the presentations, participants provided reflections and questions. Finally, Dr Fana Hagos, President of Mekelle University, Dr. Eyasu Yazew, Vice President for Research and Community Engagement, Dr. Abdelkadir Kadir, Vice President for Academics, and Dr. Tekeste Birhanu, Vice President for Adminstraion and Development gave clarifications and directions on the wayforward.
