Mekelle University is welcoming its students after two solid years' interruption due to war.

Today the university is accepting graduating students in its' three campuses, Arid, Ayder and Kalamino. The registration and welcoming ceremony will continue for the coming few days. The university will also receive the rest of its students the coming Meskerem 4 and 5, 2016 Local calendar.

Lamaro Gloria Peace from the Institute of Climate and Society, today in Management Hall successfully defended her dissertation on, Climate Change Impact on the Current and Future Sweet Potato Production, Nutritional Quality and Land Sustainability in the Arid and Semi-Arid Areas of Northern Ethiopia.

Mekelle University management and the community congratulate Gloria and extend their appreciation to her resilience and courage of working her dissertation in such a toughest time of war.
