As we celebrate Nurses Week 2024, I want to express my profound appreciation to the entire nursing team at our University Hospital.

Throughout our university's history, nurses have played an indispensable role in advancing our tripartite missions. However, their significance has been amplified during challenging war-times, where our nurses have displayed unwavering dedication and resilience, fulfilling their professional duties without salary for nearly two years.

Mekelle University will forever cherish and honor the professionalism, compassion, and resilience demonstrated by our nursing staff.
