MU Mekelle American Corner in collaboration with Mums for Mums organized workshop on "Recognition for Women!" on the 30th March, 2024 at Mekelle American Corner, Adihaki Campus.

In her opening remark in the occasion Mrs. Mebrat Yohannes MU Gender Office Director said, "Women's history month is celebrated yearly to remember the women who make history in the world". She added that in Tigray there are many women who made history; and Teacher Teberh is one among the many heroines of Tigray. She was model in her strength, hardworking and special attention for education.
She, as a founder of Mums for Mums has changed the life of many women and children. Mrs. Mebrat furthermore started her contributions in fighting HIV and helping women with HIV to be self dependent.
In her final remark Mebrat calls all women to follow Teacher Teberh's footsteps
