 On the 13 and 15 March 2024 the US Embassy in partnership with Mekelle University and Bahrdar University has undertaken an international conference under the title “Restorative Practices for Environmental Problems” in Mekelle and Addis Ababa respectively.
US Embassy representative Ryan Bradeen, Cultural Affairs Officer at US Embassy in Addis Ababa, delivered remarks in both conferences. Ryan Bradeen indicated that the conferences are central to the US Embassy community based efforts which is the only way to achieve realistic, durable and lasting solution to the local and national challenges in Ethiopia.
Concurrently, he called upon the participants of the conference to take advantage of a high quality training that is about to undertake under the guidance of professors from here in Ethiopia and the USA. These are:

Professor James S Krueger, and
Professor Inga Laurent
