Mekelle University community harvested the land of Tigray Martiers' families in Aynimbirkekn kebelle of Hagereselam. In the campaign graduating students and staff have participated. In the occassion, the management expressed that Mekelle university will stand with the community, as usual.
A delegation from Kasetsart University, Thailand paid a visit in Mekelle University.
The Thai delegates led by Dr Ratanaporn Dhammakosol discussed with Mekelle University management on the potential opportunities in the aquaculture.
In the occassion, Vice President for Academics of MU Dr. Abdulkadir Kedir and Prof. Dr Kornsorn Srikulnath, Vice Dean for the College of Natural Sciences at KU signed MoU to collaborate in joint researches and development in Aquaculture, fish hatchery development, Fisheries, Genetics and biodiversity conservation among others. The collaboration will also include staff and student exchange for short and long term trainings such as MSc, PhD studies.
